Rohit was named man-of-the-match after he hit 104 – this was his 4th hundred of the World Cup.Rohit Sharma is now the leading run-scorer in the 2019 World Cup with 544 runs. Only one other batsman – Kumar Sangakkara – has hit 4 hundred in a single edition of the World Cup. His 102 against England went in vain in Birmingham on Sunday but 2 days later, Rohit returned to the same venue to score a match-winning hundred.Virat Kohli also doffed his hat to Bangladesh who came close in their chase of 315. Shakib Al Hasan set it up for his team before some lower-order hitting made India nervous in the closing stages of the game.At the end of the day, Kohli was a relieved man after India became only the 2nd team to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup.advertisement”I mean Bangladesh has played some really good cricket in the tournament.
