first_imgRTE star Ryan Tubridy has been given a warm welcome by locals in Dunfanaghy ahead of his live show from the stunning seaside village tomorrow morning. Tubridy and his team arrived in Dunfanaghy earlier this evening as part of their latest special feature on the Wild Atlantic Way. Earlier today Tubridy broadcasted live from Rosses Point in Sligo as he embarks on a nationwide tour of the Wild Atlantic Way. The RTE road-caster has been parked in the town square all evening ahead of the show and Dunfanaghy is expected to be a hive of activity tomorrow morning.Tubridy will be hoping to be on ‘cue’ tomorrow morning for the live show, as he certainly was on cue tonight in Patsy Dan’s Bar where he played a game of pool. The Late Late Show host has been overwhelmed by the response he has received and uploaded a picture of himself sitting on bench in the town that had messages on it welcoming the RTE star to the town. He posted the picture on his 2fm Facebook page with the following caption, “Such a warm welcome to Dunfanaghy – even the benches have posters to greet us! ‪#‎wildatlanticwayEarlier today we covered the story of Carol Corcoran, a young woman from Dunfanaghy who penned a poem about Ryan’s visit. She was gutted she couldn’t greet him personally as she is working as a nurse in Dublin, so she wrote him a poem instead.Dunfanaghy is gripped by the Tubridy factor! 🙂Tune in tomorrow on RTE 2fm at 8.45am to listen to the live show from Dunfanaghy. RTE STAR RYAN FINDS HIMSELF ‘SNOOKERED’ IN DUNFANAGHY was last modified: June 9th, 2015 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:DunfanaghyEntertainmentFeaturesnewsRTE 2fmRyan TubridyWild Atlantic Waylast_img
